Terms of Use

Before you (tutor and/or student/parent/educator/user of this website) click on the buttons ("submit", "Send", "Find", etc.) to submit any of the pages (your personal or billing info, registration process, or finding a tutor or student) and before you using this website - PLEASE CAREFULLY READ ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF OUR AGREEMENT, AND OUR PRIVACY POLICY. By clicking on the submit buttons, and/or by starting the registration process, and/or by doing a search for and contacting our tutors, you are agreeing not to use this service for any unlawful purpose and are consenting to bound by the following agreement.

1) General: NeedTutors.com can modify at any time and in any manner these Terms and Conditions of Service and the Tutoring Code, with or without notice to tutor and student by mail, electronic mail or on-line posting ("Notice") of modification. If any change to the Terms and Conditions of Service, Tutoring Code and systems or pricing is unacceptable to a tutor or the student, both the tutor and the student must discontinue use of the Service.

2) These are students who request tutoring, and these are tutors who provide tutoring! NeedTutors.com offers tutors/students not 'dates' to its students/tutors, respectively! Both parties are made aware of this special tutoring relationship. NeedTutors.com is a tutoring matching site not a dating or an escort website! Tutoring as well as any other relationship that the tutor and/or the student/parent enter, is the sole responsibility of those parties. NeedTutors.com does not assume any responsibility resulting from this student-tutor matching endeavor.

3) Tutors and Students using this website must be aged 18 or over. If you are under the age of 18, you MUST obtain parent/legal guardian permission to register as a tutor, trainer, or instructor. You MUST also obtain parent/legal guardian permission to contact registered tutors, trainers, and instructors in our database. We encourage parents/legalguardians to actively participate in their child's tutoring needs.

4) Registered Tutors must understand that subscription fee is non-refundable. Tutors may cancel their registration any time and not obligated to renew subscription.

5) When you register as a tutor, trainer, or instructor, you understand that your contact information, including, but not limited to, your name, email, and telephone number (if provided) may be viewed by visitors of the NeedTutors.com website. Furthermore, you also understand and agree that the information you have provided is true, and you have the proper qualifications and expertise in the disciplines and subjects you have selected at time of registration.

6) Tutors, trainers, and instructors in our database have not been screened. NeedTutors.com does not confirm nor deny validity of the information associated with each registered tutor, trainer, and instructor. When you find a tutor, trainer, or instructor that matches your tutoring needs in our database, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CONDUCT ANY AND ALL BACKGROUND AND REFERENCE CHECKS.

7) Use of improper language ANYWHERE in this website is prohibited.

8) The contents of this web site including, but not limited to, the database information are protected by copyright laws and regulations. No material in any shape or form may be copied, reproduced, transmitted, or distributed.

3) This site is provided on an "AS IS" basis and NeedTutors.com disclaims all responsibility for any loss, liability, injury, claim, or damage of any kind resulting from any errors in this website and its content including, but not limited to, typographical and technical errors and inaccuracies. NeedTutors.com disclaims all responsibility with regard to third party websites or their content, that might be accessed directly or indirectly through links in this site.
